Superior Prosthetics and Orthotics provides care for patients all over the world helping them to become independent in their own life styles. Our staff strives to make this possible through humanitarian effort in our country, as well as, abroad. One of our licensed prosthetists orthotist, Cary Frounfelter, has provided care personally in the country of Jamaica for over six years. He has become the head Prosthetist-Orthotist for the clinic based out of Alexandria, Jamaica. This clinic provides prosthetic care for the entire island of Jamaica. It works in a humanitarian way to provide prosthetic care in Jamaica while working with the local physicians, government, and health care clinic members. This is a team effort to provide care to a country that is in dire need.
The goal for the Jamaica clinic is to have it provide up to 100 prosthesis per year. This year we have already provided up to 80 prosthetic devices. We have provided over 500 prosthetic devices over the past six years. The only financial support that this clinic receives is donations trying to cover the cost of the prosthetic components that are utilized in the prosthetic devices. You can make a difference in someone’s life by donating to help provide prosthetic care in this beautiful country of Jamaica.
