Each patient will be assessed by a license prosthetist in our prosthetic clinic. Our prosthetists work very close with the patient and the referring physician in deciding the most appropriate prosthesis to allow a patient to maximize their potential. The patient plays a huge role in deciding what type of prosthesis they will be receiving.

We feel that using the team approach by including the Patient, Physician, and License Prosthetists insurers that the patient receives the most appropriate prosthetic componentry and fit. It is our goal to help a patient return to active and independent lifestyle.

Diverse Range to Meet Your Changing Needs

Let our licensed prosthetists work with you closely to ensure that your prosthesis is meeting your needs even as your needs change because your body is changing, adjusting to amputation, and getting stronger.

Becoming an amputee has many steps that a patient will have to go through. We offer pre-amputation and post amputation counseling. After a patient has successfully gone through an amputation. We provide the patient with compression stockings to reduce the edema from the amputation that is called a stump shrinker. This will allow the patients swelling to be reduce and prepare the patient for prosthetic fitting.

After the patients’ edema has decreased, the patient is now ready for prosthetic fitting. This is when we are able to cast and measure the patient to begin the process of fabricating the patient’s custom prosthesis to meet their personal goals. Each patient is very different and needs to be treated as an individual. Every patient has their own idea of what success is. Our goal is to assist the patient and achieve every goal that they set before them self.

Our staff of licensed practitioners are current and up-to-date on all state of the art prosthetic care. We provide every type of upper and lower state of the art prosthetic devices that are on the market. We utilize all new fabrication designs to maximize the most functional prosthesis for each patient while trying to maximize the lightest weight componentry. Patients want to be comfortable and mobile with their new prosthesis. When they start physical therapy for gate training they want to be focusing on what the therapist is trying to teach them instead of an uncomfortable or heavy prosthesis.

Our staff works with suction sockets, vacuum sockets, micro processor prosthetic knees, Myoelectric upper extremity prosthetic componentry, Silicone custom locking liners, and all prosthetic knees and feet that are available from all over in the world. Most of our prosthetics today are state of the art which normally include endoskeletal design. But, we do have some patients that still prefer the exoskeletal style prosthesis, and our staff has the ability and knowledge to still provide the old-style prosthetic care that was provided in the past.

Our practitioners pay close attention to the patients changing needs with frequent follow ups with the patient throughout their life as an amputee. We always are assessing your fit of the prosthesis to insure that your socket is always fitting correctly to maximize your potential and minimize your discomfort.
